Warindi Stud was created from a long association with horses, going back some forty years.

Tootsie, a Welsh Mountain Pony cross, was purchased for the grandchildren, but proved to be a very smart little pony. Because the children were very young, and could not as yet ride, it was decided that in the meantime to get a foal from her.

I had befriended Col and Jenny Robinson, at Brendonna Boarding Kennels, that are located between Gladstone and Calliope, through the boarding of our Cocker Spaniel, Bonnie. Sadly Bonny passed away on the 19th of June 2004

Brendonna had a Section A Australian Riding Pony stallion standing at their property, by the name of Langtree Fidelity, a son of Carolina's Cats Whiskers (imp UK). Because "Fiddler" was a very nice stallion I decided to put Tootsie to him.

Col started educating me in the breeding of the Australian Riding Pony, and not long after I purchased Cariad Park Anastasia, from Jane Brooks in Perth. Anna was held at Cols mother's property in Perth, and was put in foal to Rathowen True Blue, son of Courtland Boy Blue (imp UK), before being transported to Calliope.

Shortly after the purchase of Anna, another pony, Rosacre Oaks Day was purchased from Judy Mc Guire, in Bendigo Victoria. Rosie was put in foal to Langtree Fidelity, shortly after arriving in Calliope.

Eager to purchase another Brood Mare , Dalveen Gregory was contacted, from Rathowen Stud in NSW, and purchased a beautiful mare called Langtree Purrfection

"Puss" is the daughter of Carolina's Cats Whiskers (imp UK), and will be put in foal to Courtland Boy Blue (imp UK). Puss should arrive at her new home, in Calliope, early 2004.

Puss arrived on the 26th of March 2004 and is settling in nicely. Puss's foal is due early December 2004.

In May 2004 a mare was purchased called Malibu Park Seventh Heaven from Darren Telford at Whitmere Stud . "Melody" will be put in foal to Pendley Gold Cup (imp UK) before coming to Warindi. After inspecting Pendley Gold Cup, it was decided to use him with some of our mares in the future.

Another mare, Glencogan Yours Sincerely has also been purchased, and will arrive at Warindi stud when transport is arranged.

"Sally" arrived at Warindi on the 4th June 2004, and is settling in nicely.

August 2004

Warindi Stud was blessed with our first foal . Cariad Park Anastasia(Anna) gave birth to a beautiful colt. He has been named Warindi Skys the Limit. He is by Rathowen True Blue(Nicolas), who stands at Cariad Park in Western Australia.

Czar, as he will be called, is a very "leggy" foal,and hopefully will reach the galloway size.

Warindi Stud was blessed with our second foal . Roseacre Oaks Day (Rosie) gave birth to a beautiful filly. She has been named Warindi Magic Moment (Lucy). She is by Langtree Fidelity who stands at Brendonna Vet

November 2004

Warindi Stud was blessed with a beautiful foal from our Welsh B pony Warindi Tootsie by Langtree Fidelity She has been named Warindi Heavenly Tears (Tia), as she was born during a large thunderstorm.

Langtree Fidelity, who is by the legendary Carolinas Cats Whiskers (imp UK), out of the very well performed Brandara Fantasy. Brandarra Fantasy who is by Treharne Talisman(imp UK), was also purchased to stand at stud

January 2005

A colt foal was born 6th January to Langtree Purrfection The foal is by the Courtland Boy Blue(impUK),and will be named Warindi Mister Cool. (Jasper)

With the lines of Carolinas Cats Whiskers (imp UK) and Courtland Boy Blue(impUK) , this foal should mature to be a very fine horse.

Glencogan Yours Sincerely "Sally" produced a colt foal by Langtree Fidelity This chestnut colt will be named Warindi What about Me "Jack"

Malibu Park Seventh Heaven "Melody" had the most beautiful colt foal by Pendley Gold Cup (imp).This foal will be named Warindi Gold Soverign "Joker"

Cariad Park Anastasia "Anna" had a very pretty filly by Courtland Boy Blue(impUK) This foal will be called Warindi Misty Blue "Angel" Anna was AI , and the effort was certainly worth it.

Warindi Stud was blessed with another beautiful foal from our Welsh B pony Warindi Tootsie by Langtree Fidelity She has been named Warindi I'm for Real "Ali"

Malibu Park Seventh Heaven "Melody" had the most beautiful filly foal by Langtree Fidelity .This foal will be named Warindi Heavens Delight "Holly"

A colt foal was born to Langtree Purrfection The foal is by the Ascot Royal Symphony,and will be named Warindi Right Royal Event "Cheeky"
